Carol L. Smith

Carol L. Smith, 80, of 69 Stewart Street, Linden, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at Manor Care North.

Carol was a 1949 graduate of Williamsport High School, an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State fan and enjoyed puzzles and word searches.

Born February 3, 1931 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of William F. and Margaret M. Rinker Fullerton.

Surviving are a son, Raymond L. (Patricia) Smith of Montoursville; daughters, Barbara J. (Lawrence) Mantle of Versailles, Ken., Karen A. Smith and Diane L. Smith, both with whom she lived, Peg L. (Ron) Watkins and Jackie K. (Mike) Kinney, both of Williamsport; brothers, James E. (Alice) Fullerton of Linden and Ronald R. (Jane) Fullerton of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Carol was predeceased by her husband, Raymond L. Smith and a daughter, Pamela J. Smith.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Knight-Confer’s, 1914 Memorial Avenue, with the Rev. Kenneth R. Elkin officiating. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
