Alfred N. "Bud" Curry

(February 7, 1931 - January 14, 2012)

Alfred N. “Bud” Curry, 80, of 839 Clark Street, died Saturday, January 14, 2012, at his home.

Born February 7, 1931 in Jersey Shore, he was the son of Guy and Catherine ??? Curry.

Bud was a retired 20 year U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. Following retirement he worked for the Borough of Jersey Shore.

He was a member of V.F.W. Post 844, American Legion Post 1 and the Eagles. He restored metal gliders, made barricades and enjoyed fishing and playing quoits at the Legion.

Surviving are his wife, the former Judith A. Crossley; sons, David Curry of Md. and Paul Curry of Md.; daughters, Susan Roberts, Megan ??? of Lititz and Erica Curry of Williamsport; a step-daughter, Angela Hill of Williamsport; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Knight-Confer’s, 1914 Memorial Avenue.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to his wife.
