Eri V. Fenstermacher

Eri V. Fenstermacher, 69, of Muncy, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit.
Born December 28, 1941, in Nordmont, Sullivan County, he was a son of the late Alfred and Beatrice Campbell Fenstermacher. He and his wife, the former Mary A. Thomas, celebrated 15 years of marriage on August 10, 2011.
Eri co-owned and operated K&W Transmission, Williamsport, retiring in 2003. He participated on the company bowling team, scoring a perfect game, and played fast pitch softball. Eri coached Hughesville little league for many years and enjoyed fishing, hunting and later in life, creating wood craft items for family and friends.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Alan W. (Sherri) Fenstermacher of Hughesville and Daniel L. (Beverly) Fenstermacher of Hughesville; three step-sons, John Hess Jr. of Orangeville, Bryan Hess Sr. of Benton and Jody Hess of Orangeville; three brothers, Richard (Shirley) Campbell of Lairdsville, Joe (Vicky) Youman of Milton and Ralph Fenstermacher of South Williamsport; two sisters, Joan Haines of Williamsport and Bonnie Fenstermacher of South Williamsport; two grandchildren, Jonathan J. Lundquist and Karina R. Fenstermacher; two step-grandchildren, Amanda Hess and Bryan Hess Jr; and a daughter-in-law, Susan Fenstermacher.
In addition to his parents, Eri was preceded in death by his first wife of 30 years, Roxanna M. “Roxy” Fenstermacher; a brother, Alfred Fenstermacher; and a half-brother, Ray Fenstermacher.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with the Rev. Max L. Walters Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Picture Rocks Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
