Miller, James H.

James H. Miller, 95, of 72 W. Houston Ave., Montgomery died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born November 23, 1916 in Muncy, he was a son of the late James B. and Lucille (Fowler) Miller. On June 31, 1945 he married the former Eldora F. Millheim, who survives. Together they celebrated 66 years of marriage.

James owned and operated a coal delivery truck and was also employed by Modecraft, Muncy as a security officer.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters and one son-in-law, Jane and Gary Vance of Hughesville and Suellen Tecuanapa of Naples, FL; one brother, William Miller of Lu, NV; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Betty Kouf and June and William Hulsizer all of Lu, NV; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James R. Miller in March.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the Muncy Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Max L. Walters, Jr., pastor of Lairdsville Faith Church, Hughesville.
