William G. Fry

(September 17, 1949 - December 11, 2011)

William G. Fry, 62, of Hughesville, died Sunday, December 11, 2011, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born September 17, 1949, in Danville, he was a son of Gordon L. and Edith M. Summers Fry.

William was blessed with the ability to repair almost anything. He enjoyed gardening and helping his friends and neighbors however he could. William also loved his pet lizard, Louie.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a companion, Alice F. Brady of Hughesville; three sons, Shawn W. Fry of Hughesville, Gordon R. Fry of Williamsport and William G. Fry of Davenport, Florida; a daughter, Tina M. (Donnie) Harry of St. Cloud, Florida; a brother, John F. (Chris) Fry of Montoursville; a sister, Jodie L. (Steve) Sanner of Muncy; two grandchildren, Cajun Fry and Kaitlyn Fry; five grandsons and two granddaughters; and one great-grandchild.

A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Nancy & Johnny’s Country Tavern.

The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions to McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, PA 17737, to help defray the funeral expenses.
