Stanley T. Jedrziewski

(December 7, 1929 - December 2, 2011)

Stanley T. Jedrziewski, 81, of 2782 Bottle Run Road, died Friday, December 2, 2011 at his home with his family at his bed side.

Born December 7, 1929 in Osceola Mills, Clearfield County, he was one of ten children of Stanley and Mary Rachocki Jedrziewski.

Stan and his wife, the former Wanda Malicki, observed their 53rd wedding anniversary on June 21, 2011.

Stan was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Ascension Church and an Army veteran.

Stan earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State in 1952. He was a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, enjoyed hunting and farming.

Stan was a mechanical engineer for Textron, retiring in 1990 after 30 years of service.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Vincent J. (Tina) of Williamsport; daughters, Elizabeth Van Buren of DeLancey, NY and Rita Michele (Daniel Armbrust) Jedrziewski of Ridgefield, CT and six grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the church, 2100 Linn Street. There will be a visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Knight-Confer’s, 1914 Memorial Ave. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Clearfield County.

The family suggests contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
