Lois F. Minier, 83, of Benton, died Tuesday, November, 29, 2011, at her home.

Born August 18, 1928, in Benton, she was a daughter of the late Sanford C. and Millie H. Shultz Minier.

Lois attended grade school at Richarts Grove and high school at Hughesville. She retired from Benton Milco and was a member of the Lungerville Christian Church. Lois also enjoyed playing Bingo, puzzle books, reading and watching game shows.

Surviving are a brother, Clayton Minier of Mifflinville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by three sister-in-laws, Darlene, Betty and Lenna Minier.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2011, at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with Pastor James Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Waller Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
