Charlene V. Frank, 76, of 1251 Memorial Avenue, died Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born April 29, 1935 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Valentine C. “Wally” and Ora E. Snyder Hart.

Charlene was a Registered Nurse who had worked in multiple medical facilities. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, a former elder and sexton and enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved decorating, gardening, concerts, animals and was a wonderful Mother

Surviving are her husband of 13 years, Alfred L. Frank; daughters, Michele A. (Earnest) Wright of Muncy, Melanie J. (Daniel) King of Montoursville and Melissa J. (Mark) Kurtz of Williamsport; sons, Michael B. Hanford of Williamsport and Murray J. (Jamie) Hanford of Hughesville; stepdaughters, Laura A. Werner of Sandusky, Ohio, Ramona J. Frank of Tyrone and Rebecca L. (Roger) Boonie of Petersburg; a sister, Joyce I. (Howard) Green of Moreno Valley, Cal.; a brother, David C. (Tammy) Hart of Williamsport; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Charlene was predeceased by a sister, Lindalee Walsh.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Green Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, Routes 15 and 54, Montgomery, with the Rev. Sam Hwang officiating.
