Marion Laurenson Kilgus

Marion Laurenson Kilgus, 90, of 394 E. Penn St., Muncy, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born in Huntersville on July 15, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Cloyd H. and Margaret E. (Goldy) Laurenson.  Her husband, Harold B. Kilgus, preceded her in death.

Marion enjoyed reading, writing letters, and watching Cameron and Cory grow.

Surviving are one daughter, Norma Jean Laird of Muncy; two granddaughters, Bonnie (Gary) Glidewell of Muncy and Heather (Richard) Shnyder of Montgomery; and four great-grandchildren, Cameron and Corey Kriner and Garrett and Emily Shnyder, all of Montgomery.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by four brothers, one sister, and one son-in-law, Raymond H. Laird.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 10, at Muncy Cemetery.  Officiating will be Rev. Gerald D. Wagner, retired United Methodist minister.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy, PA 17756.
