Gloria M. Andrews

Gloria M. Andrews, 83, a resident of Park Place North,  Muncy, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at her residence.

Born in Clinton Twp., Lycoming County, PA, on Tuesday, August 21, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Stanley M. and Anna Mae (Scott) Hartman.

She was the widow of Richard C. Andrews, Sr. who preceded her in death on October 2, 1977.

Gloria was a homemaker and enjoyed watching Shirley Temple movies.

She is survived by four children, Richard C. Andrews, Jr., Muncy, PA; Sherry L. and John Fruit, Pennsdale, PA; Veronica Y. Hill, Kane, PA; Edward S. Andrews, Muncy, PA; one brother, Ronald S. and Dixie Andrews, Hookstown, PA; one sister, Deonne H. Frey, Mt. Lebanon, PA. Gloria is also survived by seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her step-mother, Barbara Hartman and two brothers, Stanley Hartman, Jr. and Marlin L. Hartman.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 108 North Main Street, Muncy, PA at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2011 with Grace Marie Ransom, pastor of the Clarkstown United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will provide the flowers.
