N. Pearl Lynn

N. Pearl Lynn, 97, of Main Street, Watsontown, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Kramm’s Nursing Home, Watsontown.

Born September 4, 1913 in Alliance, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late David Ira and Mary Emma (Meehan) Auker.

She married M. Walter Lynn and they had celebrated 62 years of marriage until his death in 1996. She attended Delaware Run Wesleyan Church and enjoyed sewing, traveling and reading.

Surviving is one daughter: Leota M. Sheets, Picture Rocks, three sons and daughters-in-law: M. Lester and his wife Carol Lynn, Hellertown, PA; Kenneth L. and his wife Phyllis Lynn, Lock Haven; Ernest L. and his wife Bonnie Lynn, Lynchberg VA; a sister: Martha Sechuler, Watsontown; 15 grandchildren , 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by three brothers: Luke, Paul and Merrill Auker; three sisters: Bessie Hoffman, Ruth Auker, and Helen Keiser; one son-in-law: Dale Sheets.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 24, 11 a.m.  at the Delaware Run Wesleyan Church, 5570 Musser Lane, Watsontown. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Delaware Wesleyan Run Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brooks Funeral Home, 124 Main Street,Watsontown.
