Alexander, Judith A.
Judith A. Alexander, 64, of 52 Kneale Lane, Jersey Shore, beloved mother, grandmother and aunt, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Gatehouse Hospice Unit.
Judy retired from Textron-Lycoming in 2010 after 46 years of service.
Judy grew up in the Heshbon Park United Methodist Church. She enjoyed the Gaither’s Homecoming Concerts, Pittsburgh Steeler football, NASCAR, the beach in Ocean City, MD and spending time with her grandchildren.
Born May 2, 1946 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of John W. and Elizabeth R. Stroble Shaffer.
Surviving are a daughter, Brandi (Ray) Laubach of Jersey Shore; grandchildren, Raymond C. Laubach III and Johna Laubach, nephews, John Speacht and Leo, Zachary, Timothy and Matthew Ferreira, a niece, Becky Speacht, her companion, Tom Gray of Jersey Shore and special friends, Lisa Saam and Karen Smith.
Judy was predeceased by a sister Connie Coble and a niece Deborah Ferreira.
There will be a visitation from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday at Knight-Confer’s, 1914 Memorial Ave. Burial will be private in Wildwood Cemetery.
