Homler, Mark M.

Mark M. Homler, 48, of Jersey Shore, died Sunday December 19, 2010 at Jersey Shore Hospital.

Mark was born in Jersey Shore on September 2, 1962m a son of Maynard M., Sr. and Margaret Truax Homler.

He was a graduate of Williamsport High School and had been employed at Community Service Group in Lock Haven.

Mark enjoyed showing dogs and flower gardening.

Surviving are his mother and step-father Margaret and Steve Welshans of Williamsport, a sister Marguerite (Eric) Wolfgang of Allenwood, a sister Margaret M. Homler and a brother Maynard M. Homler, Jr. both of Williamsport, his companion Chris Wier with whom he lived, many nieces and nephews and his dogs.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E.3rd St. Williamsport with the Rev. Chris Milarch pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Avis officiating.

The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.

Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
