Obit: Lois J. Bausinger
Lois J. Bausinger, 84, formerly of Balls Mills, passed away peacefully at Rose View Center on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
Lois was born in Proctor, on March 1, 1933, a daughter of Frank and Bertha Matthews Braker.
She was a member of Balls Mills United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker, a 1951 graduate of Montoursville High School and enjoyed bingo and karaoke at Rose View Center.
Her husband of 42 years, Alvin L. Bausinger Sr., died May 16, 1996.
Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Jean M. (John) Richards, of Cogan Station, Carol A. (William) McElroy, of South Williamsport; a son, Alvin L. Bausinger Jr., of Williamsport; six grandchildren, Angela and Adam Richards, Jennifer Catanese, Jason McElroy, Alissa and Brian Bausinger; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, a son, Theodore A. Bausinger; brother, H. Leroy Braker; and two sisters, A. Marie Abernatha and Helen Dapp, all preceded her in death.
The family will receive family and friends at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with her pastor, Rev. Chris Pfleegor, officiating. Burial will follow at Balls Mills Cemetery.
