Man seriously injured after motorcycle crash

A man was seriously injured following a motorcycle collision with a deer. 

According to state police, Steven Reeser, 42, of. Linden was traveling west on Route 220 on a Harley-Davidson Softail when a deer entered the roadway. The deer struck the right side of the motorcycle, causing it to flip end over end. The bike hit the ground and Reeser was thrown from the motorcycle. 

Reeser was flown to Geisinger Medical Center for treatment. 

Police wre assisted by Susquehanna Health Ambulance, Woodward Township Fire Company and the Old Lycoming Fire Company. 

State Police also reported the following incidents:

12:17 a.m. Aug. 3, Police reported that Tina Matthews, 50, and Rodney Meuse, 49, both of Williamsport, shoved each other during an argument. Both wre charged with harassment. 

1:45 p.m. Aug. 10, Police reported that Stephanie Jo Traxler, 39, overdosed on heroin while in a vehicle in the Sheetz parking lot at 330 Westminster Drive, Loyalsock. A consent search of the vehicle that Traxler was in resulted in drug paraphernalia. 

2:45 a.m. Aug. 23, Police reported that Holly Marie Schon was stopped for a traffic violation on Pleasant Hill Road. After subsequent investigation, Schon was arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Williamsport Hospital. 

5:52 p.m. Aug. 25, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Ryan Watts, 26, of DuBoistown was traveling on Sulphur Springs Road when in crossed the double yellow line and traveled onto the west berm of the road. The vehicle then traveled back across the road onto the east berm and struck the rocky embankment.
