Man in critical condition following crash

A man is in critical condition following a crash that happened at 12:19 a.m. Aug. 16. 

According to state police, Robert John Paulhamus, 38, of 125 Irion Lane, Montousville, was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 141 Fairfield Church Road in Fairfield Township. Paulhamus was transported to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville via medical helicopter following the crash. 

Police said Paulhamus's status is listed as stable but critical. 

State police also resported the following incidents:

July 1 to Aug. 12, Police reported that an unknown actor used Aarons company gas card without authorization on multiple occasions. The incident is currently under investigation. 

July 16 to July 19, Police reported that a sheet containing 29 tablets of Oxycodone was stolen from Manor Care North. The investigation is ongoing. 

July 25 to July 29, Police reported that a generator was stollen from an Appellation Pre-Fab LLC construction site at 109 Quaker State Road in Fairfield Township. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700. 

1 to 2 p.m. Aug. 9, Police reported that a bicycle was taken from the home of a 70-year-old male on Sheridan St. in Loyalsock Township when he was not home. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700. 

2:51 p.m. Aug. 11, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Erika Engel, 26, of Wiliamsport, was traveling west on Washington Boulevard attempting to turn left when a vehicle driven by Julie Gilbert, 28, of Williamsport, struck Engel's vehicle. 

1:42 p.m. Aug. 13, Police reported that unknown actors broke into a home on Pine Run road in Salladasburg and and stole four checks. The actor then cashed the checks at M&T banks in Newberry and Loyalsock for a total of $2080. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Montoursvillt at 570-368-5700. 

Aug. 13 and Aug. 14, Police reported that unkown actors damaged several pole lights at different residences throughout Loyalsock Township and a building at Bruce Henry Park. They then scattered garbage around the park as well. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700. 

11:30 a.m. Aug. 14, Police reported that actors convinced Carolyn Betts, 92, of Cascade Township, to allow them into her house by telling her that they sealed her driveway a year ago and asked to use the restroom. 1:21 p.m. Aug. 14, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Ariel Morris, 19, of Milton, was traveling north on Route 220 when the it exited the roadway and struck a ditch. 

7:39 a.m. Aug. 15, Police reported that an unknown actor driving a tan extended cab pick-up truck stole a black sentry safe containing gold coins, silver coins, loose silver and numerous documents from a residence on Jacks Road in Upper Fairfield Township. 11:22 a.m. Aug. 15, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Robert Johnson, 59, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, was traveling north on Route 44 when the vehicle traveled across the center line and off the southern berm of the roadway, striking a guard rail and then a tree. 

1:40 p.m. Aug. 15, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed sideswiped a vehicle driven by Sandra Kurtz, 71, of Montoursville, on Third St. in the area of Sakura Buffet. Kurtz described the other vehicle as a tan four-door sedan. 

3:16 p.m. Aug. 16, Police reported that a vehicle driven by Theryn Doty, 26, of Hughesville, was traveling east on I-180 in Muncy Township when it traveled off the roadway and onto the shoulder, causing the vehicle to lose control. It then traveled into the median between the east and west lanes of travel. 

5:34 p.m. Aug. 15, Police reported that a pink 20" girl's Avico Starlett bicycle, model GS02043 was found at 1500 Northway Road, Loyalsock Township. The owner or anyone with information should contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700. 

8 p.m. Aug. 16, Police reported that Carol Wool, 72, of Trout Run and James Keane, 57, of Trout Run engaged in a vebal argument during which Wool slapped Keane. Keane then grabben Wool's throat and pushed her into a table. Charges have been filed against both.
