Car rolls, two injured in crash
Two were injured in a crash on Route 14 in Lewis Township at 12:10 a.m. July 27.
According to state police, a car driven by Christopher J. Keefer, 43, of Philadelphia, traveled off the road and it's rear end rotated counter-clockwise down an embankment when it overturned. The vehicle came to rest in an embankment next to the road.
Keefer and a passenger, Gina Houck, 49, of Crydon, fled the scene. Both were not wearing seatbelts and sustained minor injuries.
Police determined that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
State police Montoursville also reported the following incidents:
1 a.m. July 13, Police reported that Quran Moore, 21, of Philadelphia was stopped for a red light violation. Further investigation revealed Moore to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Charges have been filed.
July 26 to Aug. 9, Police reported that an unidentified actor stole money from Catherine Sarah Alberts, 90, of Manor Care South in Williamsport. PSP is investigating the incident.
12 p.m. July 28, Police reported that a social security number belonging to Jason Britton, 22, of Fairfield Township, may have been misused and he was denied unemployment benefits.
12:12 p.m. Aug. 6, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Jennifer Diggan, 31, of Milton, was traveling north on Route 15 when the front tire came off the vehicle. The vehicle then slowed and came to a stop along the shoulder.
11 a.m. Aug. 9, Police reported that an unknown white male and female entered Toy Cow Creamery, 7857 Route 654, and took money and milk.
6:22 p.m. Aug. 10, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Dustin Hargenrader, 30, of Williamsport, was traveling east on Rotue 442, negotiating a right hand curve when its right front ball joint broke. This caused the right front tire to twist sideways and the axle to drop onto the roadway. The vehicle slid and came to final rest off the right hand side of the roadway. Hargenrader was uninjured.
4:13 p.m. Aug. 12, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Gary Hilling, 76, of Williamsport, turned in front of a vehicle driven by Allen Muhlenbeck, 47, of Middlebry Center on East Thirds Street, causing Muhlenbeck's vehicle to strike Hilling's vehicle. No one was injured.
1:40 a.m. Aug. 14, Police reported that Cierra Martin-Permenter, 23, of Williamsport, was observed urinating in a public parking lot at Pine Street and West Church Street. She was highly intoxicated and cited for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
