Girl sends threats over Facebook
A 16-year-old Muncy girl is facing juvenile charges for threatening a 15-year-old Hughesville female because she reported a 22-year-old man for rape, state police said.
The threats were sent repeatedly over Facebook messaging.
The Muncy girl faces charges of Intimidation of Witnesses or Victims, Retaliation against Witness Victim or Part, Terroristic Threats and Harassment.
State police also reported the following incidents:
1 p.m. July 3, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Nathan McMullen, 34, of Cogan Station, was traveling east on Log Run Road when the vehicle traveled off the road and struck a traffic sign and then a large stack of tires. The vehicle then struck a wagon, a mailbox and ditch. McMullen was wearing a seatbelt and sustained minor injuries.
9:50 a.m. July 18, Police reported that an unknown actor stole a bicycle from a garage in Loyalsock Township. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700.
7:56 p.m. July 24, Police reported that a crash occurred as a farm vehicle driven by Daniel Beiler, 33, was traveling west on Route 54 when it crested a hill and was coming down the backside. A vehicle driven by John Felix, 44, of Montgomery, also crested the hill and struck the hay crimper being towed by Beiler's vehicle.
6:35 a.m. July 25, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Rodney Paulhamus, 40, of Cogan Station was east bound on Route 973 and a vehicle driven by Kristopher Jaggers, 24, of Cogan Station was south bound on Northway Road. Jaggers failed to stop at a stop sign and hit the left front side of Paulhamus's vehicle.
