Two involved in motorcycle crash
Two men were injured as a result of a two vehicle motorcycle accident on July 19 on Route 44 in Waterville, state police reported.
Both motorcylces, driven by Mark Reamsnyder, 50, of Williamsport, and Joey Heller, 40, of Williamsport, were traveling north on the road when Reamsnyder lost control of his 2005 Triumph and left the roadway on the east berm. Reamsnyder slowed in an attempt to regain control of the vehicle. At this time, Heller's vehicle made contact with Reamsnyder's, causing Heller to lose control of his 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle and crash.
Reamsnyder was transported to Jersey Shore Hospital for a minor injury and Heller was transported to Geisinger for a a moderate injury. Both were wearing helments.
State police also reported the following incidents:
8:15 p.m. July 18, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Melissa Karney, 35, of Salladasburg, was traveling south on Tinsman Ave. when it traveled through a properly posted stop sign and was struck by a vehicle driven by Tanner Boyer, 20, of Williamsport.
8:30 p.m. July 18, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Jarek Harriman, 18, of Millville, was traveling on Mill Lane when it departed the roadway and struck a tree. Harriman and passenger Robert Little, 18, of Muncy, fled the scene.
