Fugitive traveling with county fair taken into custody
When state police Montoursville investigated an incident at Big Dogs Bar, 5010 Route 220, Wolf Township, they found a fugitive.
Police ran a background check on Anthony Hoppe, 33, of Pittsburgh, and found an active warrant out of the Pittsburgh area. Hoppe was in the area with the county fair.
Hoppe was taken into custody and transported to Montoursville. He was arraigned on his warrant and committed to the Lycoming County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
State police also reported the following incidents:
Jun 15 to June 28, Police reported that hunting camps at Ellenton Mountain Road belonging to Carmen Guerrieri, 75, of Allentown and Tyler Enck, 20, of Lititz were damaged.
June 24 to June 27, Police reported that unknown actors removed a blue Yamaha 1990s dirt bike belonging to Stephen Condo, 41, of Nesbit, from his residence. The bike was described in good condition.
3:44 p.m. July 5, Police reported that two actors broke into a shed on the property of Thomas Woodward, 43, of Williamsport, and stole a propane tank.
