Two suspected in indecent assault
Two men are suspected of indecent assault of a 39-year-old Williamsport woman.
According to the woman, she was trying to load her kayak onto the roof of her vehicle at the Rose Valley Lake north boat launch in Gamble Township at 12:15 p.m. July 13. At that time, the two men came over and asked if she needed assistance. She told them no, but they ignored her and put the kayak onto the roof of her car.
She said she felt something press against her backside and turned around to see one the exposed penis of one of the men, described as a 25 to 30 year old man, 5'10" tall and thinner build with brown hair. The other male was described in the same age range, 6' tall and with a muscular build and brown hair and full beard.
The woman then got into her vehicle and locked her doors, but the two remained at her driver's side door. They then fled the scene in a green colored four door sedan.

State police also reported the following incidents:
6 to 9 p.m. May 31, Police reported that a 17-year-old male juvenile took a debit card from the residence of a 77-year-old woman and made three separate withdrawal's from the victim's account, totaling $183.00. Surveillance video from the ATMs showed the juvenile making all three withdrawals.
2 p.m. June 30, Police reported that Tammy Mae Bergquist, 39, of Montoursville, consumed a Pure Leaf Iced Tea and Rice Krispies Treat as she walked around the Surplus Outlet, 5464 Route 15, Montgomery. When confronted by the store's supervisor, Bergquist exited the store without paying for the items.
5:45 p.m. July 5, Police reported that Elmer M. Phillips, 46, of Jersey Shore, and Michele Phillips, 54, of Jersey Shore entered into a verbal argument that became physical. Harassment charges have been filed against both actors.
July 8 to July 11, Police reported that an unknown actor removed 180 prescription medication tablets from a residence belonging to Sherry Reynolds. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700.
4:21 p.m. July 9, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by John Mehaffey, 37, of Hays, Virginia, was traveling north on Route 15 in Lewis Township. Mehaffey's vehicle was traveling too fast for wet road conditions and lost control, impacting the guard rail.
July 9 to July 10, Police reported that an unknown actor removed a silver Mongoose bicycle from the porch belonging to Melinda Beighey, 332 Russell Ave. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700.
2:07 p.m. July 11, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Cheryl Hopton, 65, of Cogan Station was traveling north on Lycoming Creek Road while a vehicle driven by Kristen Psik, 21, of Williamsport, was traveling east on Log Run Road. Hopton's vehicle struck the passenger side of Psik's vehicle at which time Psik's vehicle overturned onto its roof. Both drivers were transported to Williamsport Hospital for treatment.
5 p.m. July 11, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Jonathan Wyant, 40, of Cogan Station, was backing into a parking location at the driveway of 457 Quail Lane when it struck a parked vehicle.
5 to 5:30 p.m. July 11, Police reported that unknown actors entered an unlocked vehicle belonging to Robert Rice, 31, of Muncy, parked in the Weis Market parking lot, and removed a Macbook Air laptop computer.
10:12 a.m. July 13, Police reported that Douglas John Paul Hoffman, of Hughesville, was located in a vehicle with a metal spoon with white residue located on the drivers seat of the vehicle. A hypodermic needle was located in a glasses case behind the driver's seat of the vehicle. Charges have been filed.
July 13 to July 14, Police reported that a purple/pink 18 speed Roadmaster bicycle was found at 1390 Ritchey St., Loyalsock Township. Anyone with information on the bike is asked to contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700.
