Facebook an accomplice in trespassing case
A 28-year-old Hughesville woman used Facebook to track down who she believed stole her wallet following an incident at Sheetz, according to state police.
Police said the woman was able to obtain the names and address of Christa Gardner, 19, of Hughesville, and Christian Zink, 44, of Hughesville through the social networking site. At 9:30 a.m. June 17, the woman drove to the residence and had a physical confrontation with Gardner.
State Police Montoursville also reported the following incidents:
April 11 to June 12, Police reported that Michael Faux, a former employee of All State Power Vac Inc., was charged with theft and access device fraud after using a company gas card to purchase fuel for his personal vehicle after her had been fired from the company.
3:25 p.m. June 3, Police reported that John K. Hauke, 48, operated a vehicle on Dewey Avenue while under the influence of alcohol.
4 to 5 p.m. June 26, Police reported that unknown actors entered the residence of Sandra Nau, 55, of Williamsport, and took multiple pieces of jewelry before fleeing the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700.
June 29 to June 30, Police reported that an actor removed a purse belonging to Jessica Hoyt, 26, of Loyalsock Township, from her unlocked vehicle. The actors then used Hoyt's credit card at various places.
June 30 to July 2, Police reported that unkown actors gained entry to an apartment belonging to Nytasha Jordan, 32, of Williamsport, where they stole $7,000 in US currency from a purse that was located inside a closet. The actors then feld the scene undetected.
11:30 a.m. July 1, Police reported that Amanda Haldeman, 21, of Trout Run, drove her child to the Williamsport Hospital using a vehicle that belongs to the child's father, David Jones, 52, of Trout Run. Haldeman does not have a driver's license and was not authorized to drive the vehicle.
4:30 p.m. July 6, Police reported that unknown actors damaged the front yard of Robert Rung, 76, of Trout Run, by driving an ATV through it.
9:42 a.m. July 7, Police reported that a crash occurred as a truck driven by Glenn Rumbo III, 32, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was traveling south on Main Street and attempting to turn right on to Mechanic Street in the Muncy Borough. The semi trailer of the vehicle impacted a utility pole at the intersection.
1:05 a.m. July 9, Police reported that a crash ocurred as a Ford Fusion driven by Douglas Pitt Jr., 27, of Williamsport, was traveling east on Route 54 at 50 miles per hour while negotiating a right hand turn and struck a white-tailed deer.
