Teen injured in crash lifeflighted to Geisinger Medical Center

A 17-year-old female was seriously injured in a May 10 crash. 

According to state police, the minor was traveling south on Cleman Hollow Road in Franklin Township on a Suzuki 230 Shaft motorcyle. The bike attempted to negotiate a right hand curve in the roadway and was traveling too fast, causing it to travel off the left side of the road and strike a tree. 

The girl was thrown from the motorcycle. She was lifeflighted to Geisinger Medical Center when EMS arrived on the scene. 

State Police Montoursville also reported the following incidents:

2:15 p.m. June 6, Police reported that Mark Welkie, 59, of Enola, sent over 100 text messages in approximately two weeks and approximately 34 emails in two days to Janelle Lloyd, 30, of Montoursville, after being to to stop by Lloyd. Harassment charges have been filed.

1:13 a.m. Jun 7, Police reported that Trevor Wilson Rodriguez, 24, of Southbridge, Massachussetts, entered Denny's, 1716 E. Third St., and threw two smoke bombs while the building was occupied by approximately 25 people. the actor then went to Candlewood Suites, 1836 E. Third St., and threw a smoke bomb causing 40 peple to evacuate the hotel and fire personnel from six area fire departments to respond to the scene. He was arraigned before District Judge Kemp and sent to Lycoming County Prison in lieu of a $100,000 bail. 

2:20 p.m. June 7, Police reported that a motorcycle crash occurred as a vehicle driven by James Graham, 56, of Williamsport, was traveling south on Route 87 in Upper Fairfield Township when the vehicle attempted to stop suddenly and lost control, laying onto its right side. Graham and a passenger, Tracy Erb, were injured and taken to Williamsport Hospital by ambulance. 

6:40 p.m. June 7, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Milissa Hammond, 34, of Hughesville, was traveling east on Elm Street and a vehicle driven by Meredith Anderson, 32, of Hughesville, was traveling north on Center Street in the Picture Rocks Borough. Hammond's vehicle failed to stop at a posted stop sign and entered the intersection of Elm Street, striking the driver side of Anderson's vehicle. 

7:48 p.m. June 7, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Andrew Overdorff, 21, of Allensville, was traveling east on I-180 in the left hand lane when the vehicle lost control and traveled across the right hand of the roadway. The vehicle struck an embankment on the right side of the road and flipped end over end an unknown number of times. Overdorff sustained a minor injury and was transported to Williamsport Hospital. 

9:38 p.m. June 7, Police reported that Kenneth Fernsler III of Trout Rune struck Paul Hamilton of Trout Run on the left side of his face during a verbal argument. Hamilton refused medical treatment on the scene. 

10:25 p.m. June 8, Poilce reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by William Wingfield III, 43, of Hughesville, was traveling east on Penn Drive in Wolf Township when the vehicle exited the north berm of the roadway and had initial impact with a large tree. The vehicle began to roll and came to rest on its roof. Wingfield sustained a minor injury.
