Salladasburg Borough crash and other incidents

A crash occured at 2:30 a.m. May 18 as a vehicle driven by Michael Klacik III, 44, of Avis, was traveling south on Route 973 when the vehicle exited the roadway and traveled across a drainage ditch, according to state police. 

Klacik's vehicle stuck a tree and traveled another 25 feet before hitting an embankment. 

Klacik was uninjured. 

 

State Police Montoursville also reported the following incidents:

1:15 p.m. May 18, Police reported that Michael Haines, 42, of Williamsport, was in a vehicle crash. After receiving blood results taken after the crash, it was determined that Haines was under the influence of alcohol. 

June 3 to June 4, Police reported that a window of the east side of a residence belonging to Jack Bremigen, 57, of Hughesville, was damaged by a ricochet from a rifle. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700.

12:05 p.m. June 4, Police reported that Debra Schneck, 56, of Lock Haven, trespassed on property belonging to Daniel McHenry, 74, of Lock Haven, after McHenry gave Schneck notice not to do so. Charges have been filed.
