Man ejected from motorcycle, killed in 220 crash

A Huntingdon man was killed in a crash Friday afternoon on Route 220 in Lamar Township. 

Bert McBrayer, 69, of Huntingdon was traveling north on Route 220 in the area of Auction Road on a Suzuki Intruder 1400 motorcycle, Pennsylvania State Police Department Lamar reported. 

At the same time, a Jeep Commander driven by a 17-year-old Lock Haven teen was along Fairground Road, waiting cross Route 220  to continue onto Auction Road. The Jeep pulled out and struck McBrayer's motorcycle in the left front portion, police said. 

McBrayer was thrown from the motorcycle onto the north shoulder of Auction Road. He was not wearing a helmet.

McBrayer was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The investigation of the crash is ongoing at this time.
