Police report various incidents

Pennsylvania State Police Department Montoursville reported the following incidents:
April 29 to May 1, Police reported that unknown actors entered a garage belonging to Dennis Sheets, 65, of Hughesville. Once on the property, the actors stole car batteries from vehicles belonging to Thomas B. Marquette, 61, of Hughesville; Carl D. Johnson, 57, of Muncy; Keith C. Moyer, 46, of Unityville; Joseph A. Chek, 77, of Williamsport; and John S. Edkin, 87, of Williamsport. The actors entered into a motor home owned by Marquette and stole numerous items. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700.
1 a.m. April 30, Police reported that during an argument at their residence, 537 Village Road in Pennsdale, Robert Hitesman, 43, pointed a pistol at Sheri Hitesman, 42, and threatened to shoot her. Charges have been filed.
6:08 a.m. May 7, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle pulled in front of a vehicle driven by Hope Salisbury, 32, of Mill Hall on Route 220. At the same time, a vehicle driven by Carl Poff, 58, of Lock Haven, was traveling behind Salisbury. Salisbury's vehicle braked to avoid contact with the first vehicle. Poff's vehicle did was not able to slow down and struck the rear of Salisbury's vehicle.
8:25 a.m. May 12, Police reported a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Doreen Berger, 51, of Hughesville, was stopped on Water Street, waiting for a tractor trailer to cross the bridge. A vehicle driven by Michael Seltzer, 38, of Nanticoke, was stopped behind Berger's vehicle. At that time, a vehicle driven by Cher Rathmell, 40, of Hughesville, crashed into the back of Seltzer's vehicle, pushing it into Berger's vehicle.
4:30 p.m. May 12, Police reported that a Trout Run man and woman became involved in a verbal argument. The woman went to the bedroom to pack and leave, but then the man slapped her and punched her in the face and head several times. He then fled the scene. An arrest warrent was obtained for the man and he was located on May 13. He was then placed in Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
