Police report various incidents
Pennsylvania State Police Department Montoursville reported the following incidents:
9:22 p.m. Mar. 20, Police reported that Darrel Hecknauer, 21, of Montgomery, was charged with DUI following a crash on Mar. 20.
5:30 p.m. Mar. 21, Police reported that a verbal argument between 3 Montoursville males began and the three began to push and shove each other. As a result, the three were cited with harassment.
5:48 p.m. April 8, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Shane Hargenrader, 26, of Montoursville, was traveling south on State Route 87 at high rate of speed. Hargenrader failed to negotiate a right curve in the roadway as he reached for his cell phone. The vehicle exited the road on the west side and impacted a traffic sign, mailbox and stump.
8:50 p.m. April 8, Police reported that David Simcox, 51, of Hughesville, and Dylan Simcox, 18, of Hughesville engaged in an argument in which David Simcox struck Dylan Simcox multiple times in the head and arm. The victim was able to flee the residence and wait at another location for police to arrive. Summary harassment charges have been filed.
12:30 p.m. April 10, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Robert Hecknauer, 23, of Montgomery, was traveling north on Snaurytown Road at a high rate of speed. The vehicle failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway and exited the road on the east side, continuing north for approximately 125 feet before hitting two trees. The vehicle rolled over and came to rest on its right passenger side. No injuries were reported.
7:05 a.m. April 12, Police reported that Roger Geiger, 41, of Muncy, and Mark Phillips, 39, of Montgomery, entered into a verbal argument at which time Phillips grabbed Geiger's face and ears. Summary harassment charges have been filed.
7:40 a.m. April 12, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Sarah Guzman, 22, of South Williamsport, was traveling in the left lane of E. Third Street in the vicinity of Dunkin Donuts and a vehicle driven by John Rickert, 20, of Beech Creek, was emerging from the driveway of Dunkin Donuts. Guzman's vehicle had impact with the driver side rear quarter panel of Rickert's vehicle.
