Police report various incidents
Pennsylvania State Police Department Montoursville reported the following incidents:
Dec. 27 to Feb. 26, Police reported taht an unknown actor entered a farm house at the intersection of Sulky and Funston Roads belonging to Harold Gardner, of Milliville, and took various copper plumbing and several decorative wooden picture frames. The actor then fled the scene.
6:35 p.m. Feb. 4, Police reported that John Wertman, 35, of Montgomery, drove through the yard of Matthew Foreman, 35, of Montgomery, and struck the vehicle of Michael Gravelle, 38, of Muncy. Subsequent investigation revealed that Wertman was driving under the influence of alcohol. Charges have been filed.
2:19 a.m. Feb. 8, Police reported that a traffic stop was initiated after a vehicle belonging to Justin Kordack, 31, of Williamsport, was observed to have a headlight out. During conversation with Kordack during the traffic stop, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was discovered. A series of field sobriety tests were conducted and Kordack was transported to Williamsport Hospital for a legal blood draw. Charges for DUI and summary traffic violations were filed.
9:10 a.m. Feb. 8, Police reported that Mary Buck, 85, of Montgomery, was run over by an oil truck in her driveway after Buck had fallen just prior to the oil truck beginning to pull out of the driveway.
Feb. 14 to Feb. 15, Police reported that an unknown actor entered the hotel construction site at 66 Liberty Lane, Loyalsock Twp, and entered the hotel construction site and stole tools with a total value of $2,071.
1:53 a.m. Feb. 15, Police reported that Nicole Holcomb, 25, of Bloomsburg, was charged with DUI following a traffic stop.
Feb. 19, Police reported that an unknown actor used the identifying information of Ebonee Conner, 28, of Williamsport, to file a 2013 Federal Tax Return. The victim discovered her information was used when she filed her 2013 Federal Tax Return and received a rejection notice indicating taxes have already been filed unde her social security number.
4:12 p.m. Mar. 3, Police reported that a 45-year-old Williamsport male sent a text message to a 45-year-old Williamsport woman, violating a PFA. The man was arraigned before Judge Joy McCoy and released.
6:27 a.m. Mar. 7, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Cristy Schmelzle, 57, of Roaring Branch, was traveling south on State Route 14 when the vehicle drove off the right shoulder of the roadway, stricking a ditch and then a culvert to the driveway of House #1305.
10:25 a.m. Mar. 6, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Herbert Lunt, 20, of Williamsport, was traveling south on State Route 15 when the vehicle traveled off the roadway, across the fog line. Lunt lost control on the gravel and traveled back onto the roadway and across both lanes. The vehicle then struck a concrete barrier along the left of the roadway, deflected from the barrier, traveled across both lanes of travel and came to final rest along the right side of the roadway. Lunt was not injured.
7:27 a.m. Mar. 7, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Jeremy Mitcheltree, 31, of Linden, was traveling south on State Route 14 when the vehicle swerved out of the south bound lane and across the north bound lane and off the roadway, striking a utility pole. The vehicle then rotated counter clockwise, coming to final rest in the north bound lane.
4:30 p.m. Mar. 7, Police reported that Michael McGarr, 30, of Muncy, drove to Schick Elementary School approximately two hours after he had previously picked up his child in an effort to pick up his child from school. McGarr was found to be under the influence of heroin and marijuana and drug paraphernalia were taken from his person. He was arrested for the same. Charges have been filed.
6:52 p.m. Mar. 7, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by John Lehman, 64, of Jersey Shore, was traveling east on State Route 118 near Gregg Run Rd. when two deer ran out in the vehicle's lane of travel. The vehicle struck both deer head on.
10:16 p.m. Mar. 8, Police were contacted in regards to a physical domestic dispute between Celenia Fernandez-Tucker, 32, of Trout Run, Ryan Blackwell, 37, of Trout Run, and two male juveniles. As a result, Fernandez-Tucker was charged with Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, Harrasment and Disorderly Contact.
