Police report fatal crash
March 10, 2014
At 7 a.m. Mar. 10, a vehicle driven by Gerard Kineard, 46, of Germantown, was traveling north on State Route 220 when it traveled off the west side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a tree on the west berm and then traveled back onto the roadway and onto the east berm where it came to rest, facing north.
Kineard was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lycoming County Coroner. Officials believe that Kineard had a pre-existing medical condition and sustained a heart attack while driving, causing his death.
