Police report various incidents

Pennsylvania State Police Department Montoursville reported the following incidents:

Nov. 5 to Jan. 27, Police reported that an unknown actor removed a Kindle Fire HDX and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and left the store without paying. The items are valued at $410.99 combined. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Montoursville and reference incident #F01-1214980.

1 a.m. Jan. 25, Police reported that a traffic stop was conducted on Ronald Wilson Jr., 48, of Hughesville, for summary traffic violations. Upon contacting Wilson, it was believed that he was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He was transported to Muncy Valley Hospital after performing poorly on a field sobriety test. Charges are pending. 

12:30 a.m. Feb. 3, Police reported that prespriction medication was stolen from Ann Dabback, 44. Dabback has since recovered the pills. The incident is curently under investigation. 

7:30 a.m. Feb. 4, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Russell Duck, 23, of Montoursville, was traveling south on Butternut Grove Road when it lost control and traveled off the roadway, striking a small block wall and an antique decorative metal wagon wheel. 

7:53 a.m. Feb. 7, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Daniel McConnell, 36, of Hughesville, was traveling east of Route 188 behind a tractor trailer. Upon reaching a passing zone, McConnell's vehicle traveling into the oncoming lane of travel in order to pass the tractor trailer. The vehicle spun out during the process, causing it to lose control and strike a guard rail. 

9:30 a.m. Feb. 10, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Colleen Masteller, 19, of Williamsport, was traveling east on State Route 654 when it lost control and traveled off the south berm. 

11 p.m. Feb. 11, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Tammy Mitchell, 49, of Jersey Shore, was travling north on State Route 287 when it traveled off of the right side of the roadway and impacted a snow bank. The vehicle then impacted several trees with its front end, casuing it to rotate 180 degrees clockwise. 

5:28 a.m. Feb. 12, Police reported that Cassandra Welshans, 22, of Linden, was found to be intoxicated outside of 87 Larue Drive, causing a disturbance. 

3:51 p.m. Feb. 12, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Brandon Gardner, 23, of Jersey Shore, was parked behind a Jaguar Xtype along the North shoulder of State Route 220. A freightliner driven by Larry Sarnes, 49, of Guyton, GA, was traveling south on the roadway in the right lane. Garnder's vehicle attemped to re-enter the right lane and traveled underneath the trailer of Sarnes's vehicle. The rear tandem tires of the trailer drove over the front of Gardner's vehicle. Gardner's vehicle traveled in a north bound direction and struck the right front of the Jaguar Xtype. Gardner was not injured. He will be cited for a violation of Vehicles Entering or Crossing Roadway. 

9:42 a.m. Feb. 13, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Kyle Clark, 20, of Cogan Station, was traveling in the right north bound lane of State Route 220 when it traveled off the right shoulder on a snow covered embankment. The vehicle overturned on its roof. The vehicle received disabling damage. Clark sustained no injuries.
