From PPL: Winter's latest blast is expected to affect our area tonight and tomorrow and I want you to know PPL Electric Utilities is monitoring the weather and is prepared.
As you may know, this storm could drop up to a foot of heavy, wet snow in some locations. Outages are possible.
All of our repairs crews are ready to respond. Travel conditions could hamper travel for our crews, so we ask for the public's patience on this issue.
Customers should be prepared for possible outages and be sure to charge their cell phones and other communications devices. In addition, they should make sure they have fresh batteries for their flashlights. Customers with wells should make sure they have bottled water on hand in the event of an outage.
We encourage customers to report their outage online at pplelectric.com/outage or by calling 1-800-DIAL-PPL. Notifying us helps us better understand the scope of the outage and assign the right resources for repairs. Sign up for PPL Alerts at pplelectric.com/alerts for updates on restoration at your home or business.
