Police report various incidents
Pennsylvania State Police Department Montoursville reported the following incidents:
Aug. 17 to Jan. 26, Police reported that money was stolen from the Roger Magargle Benefit Fund. This incident is currently under investigation.
Jan. 28 to Jan. 30, Police reported that a MasterCard belonging to Debra Gresh of Montgomery was compromised and fraudulent purchases were made. The investigation is ongoing.
8:03 p.m. Jan. 28, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Jaron Cunrod, 24, of Coburn, was in the left lane of State Route 220. A vehicle driven by Mitchell Fink, 24, Williamsport, was in the right lane of the roadway. Cunrod's vehicle was slightly in front of Fink's vehicle when Cunrod's vehicle started to merge into the right lane. Cunrod's vehicle lost control and entered the path of Fink's vehicle. Fink's vehicle struck the passenger side of Cunrod's vehicle, then struck the guardrail. Cunrod's vehicle spun into the median between the north and south bound lanes of Route 220.
Jan. 29 to Jan. 30, Police reported that an unknown actor stole gas from the gas tank of Ernest Delp Jr., 58, of Williamsport. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Montoursville at 570-368-5700.
1:12 p.m. Jan. 30, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Martha Barkholz, 70, of Milton, was northbound on State Route 405. The vehicle was negotiating a left hand curve when it drifted off the right hand side of the roadway onto the shoulder. Barkholz overcorrected and the vehicle came back off the shoulder and across the south bound lane of the roadway. The vehicle struck the guiderail, then traveled back across the roadway.
8:45 p.m. Jan. 30, Police reported that a 14-year-old male and a 43-year-old male, both of Williamsport, became involved in a verbal argument. During this argument, the 43-year-old male punced the younger male in the left cheeek and grabbed him by the neck. Charges have been filed.
