Police report various incidents

Pennsylvania State Police Department Montoursville reported the following incidents:

1:32 p.m. Nov. 22, Police reported that Carl Brainin, 82, of Unityville, had a check stolen and forged at Lowe's in Bloomsburg in the amount of $1,069.92. The incident remains under investigation. 

10:20 p.m. Jan. 10, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Justin Hammon, 28, of Lancaster, was traveling north on S. Main Street. The vehicle lost control on an ice covered bridge and spun, crossing the southbound lane and exiting the roadway on the west side of the roadway. The vehicle continued off the west side of the roadway and struck a utility pole with its left rear end. Two passengers, Lorian Hammond, 35, of Lancaster, and Debra Sload, 55, of Conestoga, were injured from this crash and transported to Muncy Valley Hospital for treatement. 

8:17 a.m. Jan. 13, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Andrew Macleod, 33, of Baltimore, MD,  was traveling north in the right lane of US 15, just north of Armstrong Road. The vehicle failed to negotiate a slight left curve, and traveled across the left northbound lane, crossed the double yellow line, and traveled into the southbound lane. The vehicle then over corrected, traveling across both northbound lanes and continuing off the east berm of US 15. The left side of the vehicle struck a rock on the east berm, causing it to roll an unknown number of times. Macleod sustained minor injuries and was treated at Geisinger. 

8:12 p.m. Jan. 13, Police reported that a Muncy 16-year-old female struck Jenna Culver, 27, of Bloomsberg, in the head multiple times with her fists during a verbal argument. Another Muncy 16-year-old female struck Winter Haubert, 18, of Muncy, in the head multiple times with her fists during a separate verbal argument. The first attacker also allegedly damaged property belonging to Ashler Manor Facility in Muncy. Citations were filed against the two teens.
