Weather a factor in several vehicle crashes

Pennsylvania State Police-Montoursville reported the following crashes:
3:45 p.m., Nov. 26, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle was traveling east on State Route 184. The operator lost control of the vehicle, which fish tailed and struck a pole with is passengers side rear. The driver was not injured and the vehicle was driveable.
5:45 p.m., Nov. 26, Police reported that a crash occurred when Mark Morgan, 40, of Trout Run, lost control of a vehicle on State Route 184, which was snow covered. The vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a utility pole on the north side berm, causing it to sheer off. The vehicle came to rest in a field.
8 p.m., Nov. 26, Police reported that a vehicle driven by Anna Zuratt, 31, of Pottsville, was traveling south on State Route 414 when a tree fell from the bank on the west side and landed in the roadway. No violations were observed. The crash was caused by the envlronmental factor of the tree falling in inclement weather.
7:30 p.m., Dec. 1, Police reported that a vehicle driven by Jessica Kinley, 27, of Williamsport, was travelling west on Pleasant Stream Road and was negotiating a sharp left curve when it proceeded to rotate counter-clockwise. The point of initial impact occurred as the vehicle sturck a wooden bridge railing with its ride side and overturned into a creek. The vehicle feel approximately 15 feet onto its roof into approximately two to three feet of water. The vehicle came to final rest on its roof, facing south west. Kinley and passenger David Davenport, 52, of Williamsport, were wearing seatbelts and were able to exit the vehicle with only minor injuries.
8:06 a.m., Dec. 2, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Samantha Wilt, 21, of Muncy, was traveling west on Route 442 and lost control while traveling over a bridge that was icy. Shortly after crossing the bridge, the vehicle impacted the guard rail twice off of the north berm and then exited the roadway through the south berm traveling south. After exiting the roadway, the vehicle continued south and side swiped a residence causing minor damage. After impacting the residence, the vehicle came to final rest facing south. Wilt was not injured.
9:45 a.m., Dec. 2, Police reported that a crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Trevor Wiliams, 17, of Montoursville, was traveling westbound on State Route 864, negotiating a left curve. The vehicle began to rotate counter-clockwise on the roadway and then proceeded to rotate clockwise. The point of initial impact occured as the vehicle traveled off the north side of the roadway and struck a post with mailboxes with its left side. The vehicle continued to rotate clockwise and struck a traffic sign with its left side. The vehicle then traveled down an embankment, approximately 100 feet through a field and then traveled down a second embankment, coming to final rest over the second embankment with its front end pointed downward into a creek, facing northwest. Williams was wearing a seatbelt and was not injuried.
