Crash injures three
Pennsylvania Police department reported that a crash occurred at 11:50 p.m. Nov. 23.
Police said that the crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Cody Souders, 23, of Parkersburg was traveling south on state route 44. Souders's vehicle exited the roadway off the west berm onto a slight embankment. The vehicle continued south off the west berm for approximately 138 feet until its right rear quarter panel hit a mailbox. The vehicle came up the embankment and started to overturn multiple times across both travel lanes. The vehicle's left front wheel hit the embankment, causing it to rotate and the passenger side roof to impact the embankment. The vehicle came to rest, upright, facing north in the north bound travel lane.
Souders and passenger Morgan Myers, 25, of Lock Haven, were treated on scene by MS. Passenger Dawson Souders, 23, of Parkersburg sustained major injuries and was life flighted to Geisinger Medical Center.
Cody Souders showed signs of intoxication. Charges are pending the reulsts of legal blood draw.
