State Police report various incident

The Pennsylvania State Police Department, Montoursville, reported the following incidents:
Sept. 15 to Oct. 19, Police reported that an unknown actor entered the residence of Sheli Berger, 36, of Williamsport, and removed approximately $1,000 worth of gold jewelry from her jewelry box. The actor then fled the scene. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Montoursvile at (570) 368-5700.
Oct. 11 at 11:26 p.m., Police reported that Lestor Steele, 59, of South Williamsport, was contacted regarding a motor vehicle crash on state route 87 near Carey Hill Road. Steele was suspected of DUI and transported to Williamsport Hospital for a chemical test of his blood.
Oct. 22 at 7 p.m., Police reported that a crash occured when a vehicle was parked on the north shoulder of SR 118 facing west after hiting a deer approximately 5 minutes prior to the crash. Albert Miller, 40, of Lock Haven was a passerby that stopped to see if the vehicle was okay after the initial crash. A vehicle driven by Peter Corser, 25, of Williamsport struck the back of the parked vehicle, causing it to knock the parked vehicle into Miller. Miller complained of minor pain on his right arm and side but waived any medical treatment, stating that he would see how he was in the morning and seek treatment on his own if he needed it. Corser was cited appropriately.
