Couple Shoplifts From Loyalsock Township Business--While Child Waits in Stroller - PSP Montoursville continue to investigate an incident of retail theft that occurred last month in Loyalsock Township. Trooper Troy Hansen said shortly before midnight on June 29 an unknown male and female entered the Sunoco gas station convenience store on Washington Boulevard. The female took an undetermined number of item off of the shelves in the store and exited without paying for the items. The store clerk followed the suspect, who is described as a black female, approximately 5 feet to five foot three inches with a thin build, wearing light-colored clothing. The unknown male is described as a black man, approximately six foot tall. The female was pushing a gray stroller with a child seated inside, Hansen said.
State police also responded to the following incidents:
- July 2, 4:18 p.m., two-vehicle accident on Lincoln Drive, Loyalsock Township. A car, operated by Billie Staib, 64, of Williamsport, was traveling east on Lincoln and suddently slowed/stopped due to traffic when she was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Jackson Kurtz, 19, of Williamsport. No injuries were reported, Trooper Douglass Hoffman said.
- July 1, 9:39 a.m., two-vehicle accident on Route 405, Clinton Township, in front of Spring's Window Fashions. No injuries reported between Shane R. Youmans, 31, of Montgomery, Tiffany Shank, 23, of Muncy, or passenger Katherine Clark, 21, of Muncy. Youmans was cited for expired vehicle registration, Trooper Travis Doebler said.
