Muncy Driver and Passengers Injured in One-Vehicle Rollover - A 50-year-old woman and three children sustained minor injuries following an accident that occurred in Muncy Creek Township at noon on Wednesday, April 3. Trooper Erik Barlett said Edith Haueisen was driving a Chevy Trailblazer eastbound on Interstate 180 200 feet prior to exit 13A when the vehicle swerved across the road onto the north shoulder. The vehicle then traveled south across both lanes of travel onto the berm between the highway and the exit then started totating counter-clockwise, striking three delineator markers before rolling onto its roof, rotating three times and striking the exit sign and a nearby light pole. Three children, ages 10, 2 and 1 , along with the driver, were wearing their seat belts, Barlett said.
PSP Montoursville also responded to the followig incidents:
- On March 31, 2:04 a.m., Alfred Sciacca IV, 25, of Williamsport allegedly was observed in a red Ford which had stopped at a flashing yellow light at the intersection of East Third Street and Northway Road, Loyalsock Township. Trooper Adam Kirk said the vehicle sat at the light for several minutes. Sciacca allegedly had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage about his breath and body; he was taken to the DUI Center for a blood draw. DUI charges are pending the blood results.
- On March 30, 3:15 p.m., James Huffman Jr., 23, of Montoursville was stopped by Trooper Kirk for alleged speeding on Interstate 180 in Loyalsock Township. Kirk detected the strong odor on an alcoholic beverage about Huffman's body; DUI charges are pending the blood results.
- On March 6, 6:47 p.m., Trooper Paul McGee cited Kris Ward, 41, of Canton for retail theft after an alleged gas drive-off type shoplifting incident that occurred at the Steam Valley Truck Stop, 169 Route 14 Highway in Trout Run. Ward was cited after the business owner's complaint that Ward stole $54.11 in gas, McGee said.
- On March 27, 5:47 p.m., Christopher Pelletier, 27, of 2656 Euclid Ave., Duboistown, allegedly violated a PFA order and spoke with the 26-year-old victim outside the allowed parameters of the PFA. The incident occurred at 223 Chappel Mountain Road in Eldred Township, Trooper Hoffman said.
