Williamsport Man Jailed Following Discovery of Georgia Warrant - A 52-year-old man was remanded to the Lycoming County Prison over the weekend following a motor vehicle stop in Loyalsock Township. Trooper Ryan Golla said Warren Timothy Earl was operating a vehicle on Route 180 in the area of Northway Road at the Faxon Street on-ramp when he was stopped for a summary traffic violation. During the course of the stop, Golla discovered a warrant for Earl issued from Gwinnett County, Georgia. Earl was arraigned before Magistrate Jerry Lepley and jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Pennsylvania State Police also report the following incidents:

  • Between March 6-8, vehicle inspections stickers were stolen from Fairfield Chrysler Jeep Dodge, Route 405 Highway in Muncy Creek Township.
  • March 16, 1:17 p.m. accident on PA-654 intersection with Euclid Avenue in Armstrong Township when Katherine Spagnueolo, 20, of Williamsport, lost control of the vehicle, rotated clockwise an unknown number of times, before crossing the center line of the roadway , down an embankment and rolled over approximately 2-3 times. Spagnuolo sustained minor injuries.
  • March 16, 12:45 p.m., Route 15 in Lewis Township, Meghan Alexander, 24, Trout Run, lost control coming off the ice covered bridge and began to spin around as it crossed the snow-covered median, hiting a guardrail and coming to rest.. Alexander was not injured.
