Lamar State Police Investigate Numerous Burglaries in Clinton County - PSP Lamar are requesting the public to report suspicious vehicles or persons seen in the area of Renovo Road in Chapman Township and Gap Road in Greene Township, following several burglaries that occurred there last month. Trooper McDermott said the burglaries occurred between Feb. 7-27; anyone who has additional information regarding these area burglaries shoudl contact 570.726.6000.

Mill Hall Man Allegedly Flees Police, Resists Arrest - PSP Lamar filed alleged DUI, fleeing and resisting arrest against a 52-year-old man following a routine traffic stop in Bald Eagle Township. Darryl McDermit Sr. was observed committing a traffic violation shortly after 2 a.m. on March 1, Trooper Ritrosky said. McDermit accelerated at a high rate of speed and a pursuit ensued; upon getting the vehicle stopped, it was determined that McDermit was operating the vehicle while allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
