Injuries Sustained by Williamsport Driver Following Accident in Bastress Township - A Williamsport man was placed under arrest for alleged DUI following an accident shortly after midnight last night. PSP Montourville Trooper Brian Evarts said Martin Palmatier, 58, was traveling east on Coldwater Town Road around 12:30 a.m. Feb. 27. As Palmatier was attempting to negotiate a left hand curve when he lost control of the vehicle, which slid off the right side of the road. The vehicle then struck two large rocks, causing the vehicle to roll onto its roof and slide approximately 150 feet before returning upright, coming to final rest in the driveway of 549 Coldwater Town Road. Palmatier was not wearing his seat belt and sustained moderate injuries  and was allegedly visibly intoxicated, Evarts said.
