Motorist Sustains Injuries While Standing Behind Disabled Vehicle on Route 15 - A 47-year-old woman was injured Wednesday morning following a bizarre accident in Armstrong Township. Trooper Joel Miles said Tina M. Short, of Williamsport, stepped out of a disabled vehicle in the southbound lane of Route 15 on Jan. 23 shortly after 8:30 a.m. at the same time Josephine V. Miller was traveling that section of roadway. Miller, 55, of Williamsport, struck the disabled vehicle which came to final rest in the southbound lane of Route 15. Miller then struck Short, who was standing alongside the driver's side rear door of the disabled vehicle; Short went airborn, Miles said. Short sustained injuries of unknown severity.
