Firearms and Valuables Reported Stolen from Residences in Lycoming County - PSP Montoursville are seeking information regarding the theft of firearms in Montoursville, Jersey Shore and Trout Run. Between Dec. 4-18, a firearm was stolen from the residence of James Hill, 1520 Dauber Road, Cogan Station. Hill believes he knows who stole the firearm, Trooper Richard Holz said. On Dec. 16, two semi-automatic handguns were stolen from the residence of Christian and Danielle Hoffman, 336 Burns Road in Mill Creek Township. On Dec. 18, unknown persons forecefully entered the Snyder residence on Route 118 in Lairdsville, stealing miscellaneous jewelry and two handguns. Then on Jan. 7, between the hours of 5 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. in Piatt Township, someone entered the unlocked vehicle parked at 22 Zion View Drive and removed a .22 caliber Derringer pistol and 15 cds. And in Cogan House Township, between 7:15 a.m. and 5:20 p.m., approximately $400 and assorted jewelry were taken from a resident on Route 287 in Trout Run. Anyone with information pertaining to these thefts should contact state police at 570.368.5700.
Business Burglarized in Clinton County - PSP Lamar continue to seek information regarding a burglary that took place during the early morning hours of Jan. 11. Trooper Sheridan said around 2 a.m. someone entered through a window at the Puffs store on Hogan Boulevard in Mill Hall. Once inside, an unknown dollar amount of items were stolen; anyone with information is asked to contact 570.726.6000.
