Animal Cruelty Reported in Lycoming County - PSP Montoursville are seeking additional information in an incident of animal cruelty that ocurred last month in Woodward Township. Trooper James Doane said on Sept. 9 between 6:15 a.m. and 9 p.m., someone entered a small fenced-in horse pasture that was secured by a latched gate, then cut a portion of the tail off of one of the horses in the pasture. The horse belongs to a 59-year-old female. Anyone with information is asked to contact 570.368.5700.

Driver Uses Another's Vehicle, Crashes and Returns to Owner in Limestone Township - PSP Montoursville filed charged to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle following a crash at a state park in Limestone Township. Trooper Brandon Schrawder said on Sept. 15, Sterling A. Feldges, 23, of Shamokin, allegedly took a vehicle belonging to Kelsey Moore, 23, of Jersey Shore, without her permission, then drove it to the Ravensburg State Park where he struck an unknown object while doing doughnuts. The impact caused damage to the driver's side front tire, Schrawder said. Feldges then drove the vehicle on the tire rim back to the victim's residence at 3362 Middle Road, went inside and fell asleep on the couch.
