Retired State Police Trooper's Wallet Stolen in Franklin Township

Retired State Police Trooper's Wallet Stolen in Franklin Township - PSP Montoursville said a Unityville man's wallet was stolen and over $4,000 worth of merchandise was purchased using a credit card from that wallet. Trooper Christine Fye said Scott Brown, 44, of 36 Ritter Ridge Road, Franklin Township had his wallet stolen sometimes over a two-day period, from Sept. 16-18. Brown's VISA business credit card, inside the wallet, was purchased to purchase approximately $4,026.32 at various online stores and local businesses. Additionally, also stolen from the wallet was a retired PSP bad with "retired" on it, along with various identification cards. Anyone with information is asked to contact 570.368.5700, Fye said.
