Two Injured in Organized Motorcycle Ride in Lycoming County

Two Injured in Organized Motorcycle Ride in Lycoming County - PSP Montoursville released the names and conditions of two motorcyclists who were injured in the Sept. 11 motorcycle ride in Lycoming County. Timothy Jasper, 54, of Linden, and Darren Kahler, 44, of Williamsport, were both traveling west on Route 54 in Clinton Township around 6:30 p.m. Both units were taking part in the annual 9/11 Memorial Ride and traveling with a large group of motorcycles. Jasper's bike impacted the right side of Kahler's cycle with its left side, causing both mem to lose control and their bikes to fall on their sides. Jasper was transported to the Williamsport Hospital for a head injury while Kahler sustained minor scrapes and bruises. Kahler's passenger, Tanya M. Wood, 38, of Williamsport, was not injured. No helmets were in use by the occupants, investigator David Walker said.
Vehicle Robbed While at Football Field in Hughesville - PSP Montoursville are seeking additional information pertaining to a theft which occurred in Wolf Township last week. Trooper Jared King said items were removed from the vehicle of Stephanie Herr and Belinda Worthington while it was parked in the lot of the Pop Warner football field on Sept. 10. One hundred dollars in cash was stolen from a purse that was hidden underneath the driver's seat of the vehicle while $30 was removed from a purse underneath the passenger seat. Additionally, a Dell laptop from the front passenger seat was also stolen. Anyone with information is asked to contact 570.368.5700.
Muncy Driver Sustains Minor Injury After Rolling Vehicle - PSP Montoursville say a 26-year-old man was not wearing his seatbelt and sustained minor injuries in a Muncy Creek Township accident. Trooper Gary Beadle said Corey Watts, of Muncy, was traveling northbound on Lime Bluff Road on Sept. 13, shortly before 7:45 a.m. when his Oldsmobile Alero traveled off the roadway, then struck a railing and set of steps at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. The vehicle then traveled back across the road where it damaged the grass of multiple residences and struck multiple trees/shrubs before rolling over an unknown number of times. Watts will be cited for failure to drive his vehicle at a safe speed, along with multiple other violations, Beadle said.
Montgomery Man Shot by BB Gun - PSP Montoursville are asking for information regarding an incident of simple assault in Montgomery. Trooper Daniel Kozak said on Sept. 9, shortly before 3 p.m., Harold McElheny, 65, was cuttng the grass at 110 Fredna Avenue. McElheny was shot in the ear with a BB gun.
Muncy Dealership Reports Theft - PSP Montoursville continue to investigate an incident of theft at Fairfield Dodge in Muncy Creek Township. Trooper Daniel Kozak said between the hours of 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. during Aug. 24-27, a total of nine diesel catalytic converters from nine different Dodge Ram diesel trucks were removed from the property. A witness observed a tractor trailer in the area of the dealership on Aug. 26 around 11 p.m. The tractor was dark in color while the trailer was red, white and blue in color with the word "HUMMER" on the driver side. The witness reported that the vehicle came from the east off of I-180. Anyone with information is asked to contact 570.368.5700.
