Numerous Firearms Stolen from Hughesville Residence

Numerous Firearms Stolen from Hughesville Residence - PSP Montoursville continue to investigate a burglary that occurred in the middle of August in Wolf Township. Trooper Jonathan Houseknecht said between Aug. 14-16, someone entered the home of George Frantz, 58, of Beaver Lake Road. Once inside, multiple guns were stolen. Anyone with information in this burglary is asked to contact 570.368.5700.

Animal Cruelty Discovered in Franklin Township - PSP Montoursville report an incident of animal cruelty occurred late last month. Trooper Sean Cooney said during the overnight hours of Aug. 24 someone cut a tail off of one of the horses on a farm property on German Road, the residence of Darla Koser, 47, and John Johnson, 48. 

Copper Theft in Plunketts Creek Township; White Male and White Van Suspected - PSP Montoursville are seeking additional information in a theft that occurred over a one-week time period in Montoursville. Trooper Daniel Kozak said between Aug. 18-25, approximately 40 feet of copper pipe was stolen from a furnace which was located under a porch at 5841 Route 87 Highway. The property belongs to Anthony Kelly, 82, Kozak said. A neighbor reported seeing a white male in the area during the time period; additionally, a white van with a ladder on the passenger side was also seen in the area. Kozak said it is suspected that the van transported the male with the copper pipe from the scene of the incident after the pipe was cut from the furnace. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police in Montoursville.

Indecent Exposure After Midnight in Muncy Township - PSP Montoursville are seeking additional information after a white male entered the Sunoco gas station, 140 Lycoming Mall Drive, without pants after midnight on Aug. 17. Trooper Joel Miles said the male then exposed himself to a 32-year-old white female from Lewistown, then left the store, fleeing in a silver colored extended cab truck.
