Williamsport Man Jailed for Alleged Record Tampering - PSP Montoursville committed a Williamsport man to the Lycoming County Prison under $10,000 straight bail following an incident that occurred two months ago in Loyalsock Township. Trooper Douglass Hoffman said around 11:37 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, Mark Arness Walker, 40, gave false linformation to PSP during a traffic stop in the eastbound area of Route 180, approximately 300 yards west of exit 23A. Two citations were generated with his false information, and a warrant for Walker was generated with his false information when Walker failed to respond. Upon further investigation it was learned that Walker was the defendant. The two summary citations were withdrawn and criminal charges were prepared and filed, Hoffman said.
Montgomery Man Jailed for Alleged Simple Assault - PSP Montoursville jailed a 54-year-old man following an incident of assault that occured June 23 shortly before 3:30 a.m. David Ault, of 9009 Route 405, Montgomery, punched two victims, Pamela Esaias, 33, of Trout Run, and Ruta Ault, 53, of Montgomery. David Ault was taken into custody and charged with simple assault and harassment, arraigned in front of Judge Sortman and sent to the county prison in lieu of $7500, Trooper Travis Pena said.
Theft From Ambulance Reported in Trout Run - Trooper Daniel Kozak said theft charges were filed against a 20-year-old Trout Run man following alleged thefts earlier this month from a fire department. Travis G. Lurch, stolen a portable emergency radio and a cell from an ambulance belonging to the Trout Run Volunteer Fire Department. Lurch allegedly stole the item between 8 am. and noon on June 2, Kozak said.
