Metal Stolen from Noyes Township Property
Metal Stolen from Noyes Township Property – PSP Lamar continue to investigate a theft of metal which occurred between September 2011 and Feb. 3. Trooper David Kirkendall said during that time span, the property of Walter Jowett, 49, along Route 144 north, approximately .06 of a mile off of Route 120, was entered by unknown persons. Jowett, of Westville, New Jersey report that 1-inch thick steel I-Beams were cut up into small sections and removed from the property, along with angel iron from roof supports from a building on the property. The individuals traveled across a stream with the metal before fleeing the area in their vehicle, Kirkendall said. Total value is estimated between $1500 and $2000.
Vehicle Spray Painted in Woodward Township – PSP Montoursville report that a Linden man’s vehicle was damaged last week when someone sprayed painted along the passenger side. Trooper Buynak said Steven James Keller, 37, of 91 Sandra Lee Drive, reported the damaged which occurred during the overnight hours of Feb. 1.
PSP Montoursville also responded to the following incidents:
CRASH – ON Saturday, Feb. 4, 8:26 a.m., Kristen L. Tubbs, 23, of Muncy, sustained minor injury after striking a telephone pole on Clarkstown Road. Trooper Michael G. Shipman II said Tubbs was traveling east on Clarkstown Road just east of Kepner Hill Road when she traveled off the roadway and struck the pole. She will be cited in the accident, Shipman said.
ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD – Around 11 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, an unknown suspect used the credit cards of John Giannetto, 25, and Rochelle Giannetto, 21, both of 91 Odell Road, Fairfield Township, Muncy. Trooper Miles said the credit cards were used to make fraudulent purchases.
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – Around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1, Charles Shadle, 69, of Linden, appeared at the Moon Mart, 7468 Route 220 in Woodward Township. Shadle was manifestly under the influence of alcohol and had difficulty standing on his own, Trooper Johnathan Buynak said. Additionally, Shadle attempted to strike other people and was confrontational and argumentive. He was arrested and issued a citation for public drunkenness and released to a family member, Buynak said.
