Williamsport Man Remanded to Lycoming County Prison for Alleged Drug Offenses – Williamsport City Bureau of Police charged a 25-year-old city man with charges related to the manufacture, delivery, or possession of crack cocaine. Donovan Jamaal Butler, of 1120 Franklin St., was charged with three separate controlled buys last year within the city, Officer Thomas Bortz said.  Butler was arrested and remanded to the Lycoming County Prison $50,000 straight bail by District Judge Allen Page III.

Three Injured in Moreland Township Accident – A driver of a vehicle and its two passengers, one of them a 1-year-old boy, sustained minor injuries following an accident in Moreland Township on Monday. Trooper Matthew McDermott said Mary Collins, 39, of Hughesville, was driving north on Laidecker Road shortly after 2 p.m. when she approached a left hand curve in the road and applied the brakes. The car slid straight and struck a tree, then rolled down a 40 foot embankment before coming to final rest on its roof. Collins, a second passenger, Charles E. Smith, Jr., 40, also of Hughesville, and the toddler were utilizing their seatbelts and car seat, McDermott said. The occupants were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Jersey Shore Man Arrested for Alleged Underage Drinking – PSP Montoursville arrested a 20-year-old for summary underage drinking in Jersey Shore borough. Trooper Travis Doebler said Caleb Thomas Brain, 206 Staver Street, was a passenger in a vehicle around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. Braim was under the influence of alcohol as the vehicle was on Corning Ave near Thomas St. Charges were filed with District Judge Lepley, Doebler said.
